Can trolleys be fitted with forklift fork pockets?
Yes. Fork pockets (also called tyne pockets) can be built into or retrofitted onto a trolley for safe forklift lifting and transport. Pocket dimensions, spacing and steel thickness are sized to suit the trolley’s load rating and the forklift class used on site.
How much does a custom trolley cost?
Pricing depends on materials, size, load capacity, quantity and features such as fork pockets, shelving or castors. Stainless steel (particularly 316) costs more than mild or powder-coated steel, and one-off jobs carry a higher relative labour cost than batch runs.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. You can order a single custom unit, modifications or add-ons to existing trolleys, or a larger production run.
How long does custom trolley fabrication take?
Lead times vary with quantity, materials and complexity, but typical projects are completed within approximately 1 to 3.5 weeks after specifications are confirmed.
